The HPS Performance Air Intake Kit is designed to produce dyno-proven gains of 9 horsepower and 8.1 lb-ft. of torque to improve throttle response while maintaining a safe air-fuel ratio. The included installation manual has clear pictures and instructions to guide the installer throughout the whole process. The kit does NOT require tuning and does not trigger the CEL light. No additional modifications are required for the installation. The light weight 2.75" mandrel-bent aluminum alloy tube and high-flow air filter replace the stock restrictive intake hose and air box to optimize air flow with excellent heat dissipation and long lasting durability. This kit integrates with the factory fresh air scoop to direct cold air to the air filter for the best cooling effect. HPS Performance air intake kits feature high-temperature resistant, 3-ply reinforced silicone hoses and industrial grade 100% stainless steel T-bolt and embossed clamps which ensure reliability, even during the most extreme driving conditions. The included HPS Performance Air Filter is designed with performance in mind, delivering excellent filtration without sacrificing air flow. All HPS Performance Air Filters are made in the United States.
