The I48CE model is a low profile version (2 inches shorter than stock battery) lithium upgrade for vehicles that are equipped with a Group 48 battery. This model has been used in hundreds of Porsche cars ranging from Cayman GT4 to air-cooled 911 models all the way up to GT3RS and GT3 Cup cars and also BMW, Audi, C7 Corvettes and others for nearly a decade. At only 10 pounds, it offers more cranking power than the OE Porsche lithium battery and is a true "race grade" product compared to the majority of "consumer grade" (lesser) products on the market.

Braille I48CE is the ultra-lightweight lithium upgrade in a common Group 48 size.

Braille Lithium delivers a higher, cleaner voltage which improves the performance of every electrical component and has shown to provide: quicker starting, improved management & data logging performance, less horsepower draw from the alternator due to efficient charging (5 times faster than lead), will last 3-5 times longer (especially under the harshest environments), much more reliable, all of this on top of the significant weight savings. They also don’t self-discharge, so if the battery is disconnected (no draw or via power disconnect switch), they can sit for over a year and still have over 13 volts to start the vehicle.
