Developed for high-horsepower Honda and Acura B-Series and K-Series engines, this kit is designed for serious street, drag, roll-racing, and competition applications where maximum cylinder-head clamping force and head-gasket sealing are critical.

The Titan Motorsports CA625+ kit is an ideal upgrade for high-boost combinations that have moved beyond the capabilities of traditional 8740 chromoly head studs.

ARP Custom Age 625+ – The Ultimate Head Stud Material

These studs are manufactured for Titan Motorsports by ARP using Custom Age 625+, one of ARP's premier high-strength super-alloys.

With a typical tensile strength of approximately 260,000–280,000 PSI, CA625+ provides substantially greater strength and clamping capability than conventional 8740 chromoly fasteners commonly used in standard performance head stud kits.

That increased strength allows the fastener to maintain extremely high clamp loads under severe cylinder pressure — exactly what is required in high-boost and high-horsepower Honda applications where cylinder-head lift and head-gasket failure can become limiting factors.

Unlike some ultra-high-strength alloy steels, CA625+ also offers excellent fatigue characteristics, toughness, and resistance to corrosion and oxidation, making it an outstanding material for extreme motorsports applications.

Heavy-Duty 9/16" Hardware

The Titan Motorsports CA625+ kit uses oversized forged 9/16" 12-point nuts and hardened, parallel-ground washers to provide excellent load distribution and clamping stability.

The larger hardware provides a more robust clamping interface than the smaller 1/2" nut and washer combinations commonly found in many performance head stud kits.

A 9/16" 12-point socket is required for installation of the head stud nuts.

Why CA625+?

As boost and horsepower increase, combustion pressure attempts to physically separate the cylinder head from the engine block. Maintaining adequate and consistent clamping force becomes increasingly important to keeping the head gasket sealed.

For moderate builds, conventional head studs may be sufficient.

For extreme builds, CA625+ provides another level of fastener strength and clamping capability.

The Titan Motorsports CA625+ Head Stud Kit was created for Honda racers who don't want the head fastener to become the weak link in their engine combination.
