This HPS Performance Air Intake Kit serves as an enhanced replacement for the stock intake tube and airbox, designed to boost your vehicle's power without needing to adjust the ECU. The high-flow performance air filter maximizes the air volume entering the intake system, while the 2.5" aluminum mandrel-bent tube creates a smoother path for the air to travel to the engine. This kit also features a one-piece upper hot side charge pipe which further improves air flow while reducing the number of failure points, ultimately optimizing its output. This optimization is proven with dyno gains of 9.5 horsepower and 9.1 lb-ft. of torque. The custom-engineered heat shield blocks out radiant heat from the engine, allowing the intake to draw in cool air from the front bumper. The kit is installed using HPS high-temperature, high-pressure-resistant 3-ply silicone reducing couplers, 100% stainless steel embossed hose clamps, and high-quality hardware, ensuring durability regardless of performance demand. Requiring only basic hand tools and without the need for any additional modifications, this product is made for a simple bolt-on installation.
