This HPS high temperature 4-ply reinforced silicone air intake hose kit is the ideal replacement upgrade from the restrictive stock OEM rubber air intake hose. Engineered with high-heat resistant material, the intake hose can easily withstand temperatures of up to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Without requiring any retuning, this HPS silicone air intake kit improves throttle response by delivering smoother, unrestricted air flow to the engine while preventing heat soak that raises intake air temperatures and reduces overall power output. This kit delivers an additional 6.4 horsepower and 5.4 lb-ft. of torque. It retains use of the IAT sensor and air filter housing which minimizes the number of parts to change, keeping the installation simple. This replacement upgrade includes HPS 100% stainless steel embossed hose clamps that are fit for even the harshest road conditions. No additional modifications are required to install this kit.
