With a larger 2.25-inch diameter on the hot side and 2.5-inch diameter cold side pipes made from 6061 mandrel bent aluminum, the enhanced airflow and reduced restriction increases the engine output by 10.2 horsepower and 9.8 lb-ft of torque, resulting in improved throttle response, acceleration, and overall engine performance. The HPS Performance Charge Pipe Kit is made with reliability in mind. This kit utilizes 4-ply high temperature and oil resistant silicone couplers and stainless steel clamps to deliver dependable performance under the most demanding driving conditions. The charge pipe features a 1/8" NPT port on the lower cold-side pipe to facilitate the installation of additional sensors, injectors, or solenoids. In addition to the enhanced performance, the HPS Performance Charge Pipe Kit also offers improved reliability. The included 4-ply reinforced oil resistant silicone couplers and embossed stainless steel hose clamps ensure a secure and leak-free connection. These couplers are designed to handle high boost pressures, resist degradation from oil, and provide excellent heat resistance while the stainless steel hose clamps offer a tight fit that prevents slipping or loosening.
